TDV is a closed-loop, adiabatic, and dry fluid cooler specifically designed for heat rejection from water-cooled compressors. These innovative cooling systems can be seamlessly installed in front of any water-cooled compressor, ensuring optimal performance and temperature regulation.
TDV adiabatic cooler
TDV is an air‑cooled fluid cooler developed to dissipate heat from the cooling water circuits of water‑cooled equipment used in industrial processes. By using ambient air as the primary cooling medium, it ensures stable thermal performance and precise temperature control across different operating conditions, making it suitable for process cooling, equipment cooling, and overall system heat dissipation.
The TDV platform is applied in the cooling of water‑cooled compressors, an application where controlled operating conditions and consistent performance are particularly important. Its design supports reliable compressor operation while remaining versatile enough for many other industrial uses.
When equipped with adiabatic pads, TDV further increases its cooling capacity by taking advantage of the natural evaporation of water. In this configuration, the air entering the heat exchange coils is cooled to a temperature close to wet‑bulb values, allowing the system to reach the required cooling temperature while avoiding process water contamination or consumption.
Atlas Copco TDV fluid coolers can be selected and configured according to the specific installation requirements of each project. Depending on unit size, the design allows for integrated pumps on board and enables straightforward integration with both new Atlas Copco TPC (pump skid) cooling fluid circulation systems and existing cooling fluid circuits.
